Postdoctoral Research Position on BME in Barcelona

Postdoctoral Researchers are urgently required to participate in the "Ramon y Cajal" (RyC postdoctoral senior Grant) or "Juan de la Cierva" (JdC postdoctoral junior Grant) Program, in order to be hired by the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC, www.upc.edu) in Barcelona and to be funded by Spanish Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness.

The application will be submitted to the approppriate Call depending on the postdoctoral experience and the CV quality (up to 4 years to the JdC Call and longer to the RyC Call). For the latter, the University can provide the opportunity to get a permanent position at the end of the RyC contract.

We are looking for candidates expert on biomedical signal processing such as EEG, MEG or EMG (also signal recording and instrumentation will be valuated) and interested in neurosciences (brain connectivity, cerebral networks, and brain sources) and neuromuscular function based on high density surface EMG.
The candidates will join the BIOART Group (bioart.upc.edu) which belongs to the Biomedical Engineering Research Center (www.creb.upc.edu) from the UPC. The candidate will find a young but very active environment to develop his/her career with collaboration with other international and national groups and hospitals. The BIOART Group coordinates several projects funded by European (in the H2020 and Marie Curie frameworks), National (from the Spanish Minister) and Regional Governments.
